Purpose: To provide a care and grief support for members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and their family members and nonmembers while spreading the word.
Function: The Family Bereavement Coordinator (FBC) serves as the primary contact when a church member or a member of their immediate or extended family is faced with the loss of a loved one. The FBC will complete an assessment of the family‘s needs. The FBC will coordinate a schedule with the key family representative(s) regarding post funeral assistance schedules and visitation plans utilizing designated Bereavement Team Members.
